Bad aspect ratio under screen rotation
« on: September 16, 2016, 05:39:24 PM »
I got a vertical window every time startup after screen rotation.
And I tried every options but still cannot managed to get normal aspect ratio (to match most horizontal games).
I can manually adjust the window size, but it's not only annoying but also inaccurate.

Hi, some things to try:
Video -> Monitor Properties.  Try to select the one that best matches your monitor layout.
Video -> Stretch -> Correct Aspect Ratio (select)

Also, make sure to use at least the Enhanced Blitter.  I hope this helps! :)

best regards,

Thanks a lot. It really works! At least under Win7 and windowed mode.
However, I still cannot switch to Fullscreen mode.

  • All games deserve to be emulated, more or less! :P

Probably you are using an "arcade" resolution for the fullscreen mode and your display adapter doesn't support it... you can try to change the fullscreen resolution with a "more standard" mode.
The Fullscreen settings are in the "Video" menu:
>Fullscreen Resolution (Horizontal)
>Fullscreen Resolution (Vertical)
>Fullscreen bitdepth

Thanks.
"Single/Double/Triple Size" works for me.
