FinalBurn Alpha Enhanced Default Input Issues

Hi All,

I'm new to the forums and new to Final Burn so bare with me if this has been covered 100x.  I did a few searches and picked up some info [This thread was helpful] but I'm still stuck...


About my setup, I'm running XBCD to use a Hori Fighting Stick EX2 for player 1 and either a Logitech Wingman Wireless or Saitek P2500/2600 joypads for player 2 (I have all three, would like to configure either as long as in the end it's working and it sticks).

The method I went through was...

1. Loading a game
2. Hitting F5 and configuring both controllers
3. Browsing to config\games\gamename.ini
4. opening the ini and copying the inputs

Here's the first issue, other than the Coin and Start entries they're both recorded the same no matter what controller I use...

Ex.
input "P1 Coin" switch 0x4288
input "P1 Start" switch 0x4289
input "P1 Weak punch" switch 0x4080
input "P1 Medium punch" switch 0x4081
input "P1 Strong punch" switch 0x4082
input "P1 Weak kick" switch 0x4083
input "P1 Medium kick" switch 0x4084
input "P1 Strong kick" switch 0x4085
input "P2 Coin" switch 0x07
input "P2 Start" switch 0x03
input "P2 Weak punch" switch 0x4080
input "P2 Medium punch" switch 0x4081
input "P2 Strong Punch" switch 0x4082
input "P2 Weak kick" switch 0x4083
input "P2 Medium kick" switch 0x4084
input "P2 Strong kick" switch 0x4085

and secondly when I try to transfer the ini to a new empty text ini and place it in config\presets. Upon loading it they both load as Joystick 0 (Confirmed when I bring up the F5 controller input config), making both 1P and 2P respond to each keypress and joystick movement. The odd thing is if I don't leave the game both the input config (F5) and the game reflect that the two controllers are different. It's just upon loading that it changes.


Oh this is with FBA v0.2.96.77, WinXP SP3. Controllers are plugged straight into the motherboards USB ports.

Tengo un problema con El FB Alpha Enhanced R15, lo tengo configurado a 640x480+bliter basico+scanlines 50%+correct aspect ratio pero no se ven las escanlines y parece estar en wide screen o algo asi:


mientras que en el FB Alpha original con las mismas opciones se ve asi:

¿por que?

Oh this is with FBA v0.2.96.77, WinXP SP3. Controllers are plugged straight into the motherboards USB ports.

This sounds like an issue with your controllers/drivers.  I've had 4 xbox (modified) controllers and a ms sidewinder hooked up without issue on fba.

Scanlines stretch the image vertically.
