mame0179: how to play NeoGeo games in AES mode (without the unibios hack)?

Hello. I want to test a few things on the latest mame and for that I need to set NeoGeo to AES mode. Problem is, when I select a game, it doesn't show the AES bios as option at all:

^ It shows this screen on my end, and as you can see, AES is missing. I already have neo-po.bin and neo-epo.bin inside my neogeo.zip. What else do I need to do to make AES appear?

The NeoGeo AES is a different machine, you need to use the 'aes' driver and the Software List entries to run it.

There are actual hardware differences etc. so just having it as an alt bios would be a hack.
