Mednafen is great and open source, it has 2 different PCE cores which support CD games.
Or the Beetle-PCE/SGX version for RetroArch.

MSX2, some day, but not soon I'm afraid!  It took a solid month to add MSX, it's not an easy task.

Hi. Could you add MSX 2 games for next update Fba ?  This system has many cool games like: Aleste 2 (some sfx are similar to Gun Nac from Nes), Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake and others Konami and Compile hits.

run "make" >> makelog.txt 2>&1
this will give you a makelog.txt file, paste it here :)
replace "make" with whatever you use to run for the make process.

I'm not too hopeful, but will it run on a Pi?
Definitely not, it needs a gles3 or gl3.3 compatible gpu, and AFAIK even the standalone version of YabaSanshiro (the other yabause fork which is heavily optimized for arm) won't run well on an odroid XU4, which is gles3 and almost twice the speed of the rpi3.

There is no CD support in FBA for PCEngine, sorry :(
For PCE CD games, I like to use Magic Engine
