Retropie 4.2 FBA issue

I just upgraded my pi 3 to the new retropie 4.2.  Now a bunch of neogeo/fba games that worked are not working.  The game loads and you can hear the music etc but I have a black screen.  Wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

Nevermind.  Fixed this issue by doing a clean install instead of upgrade.
