Hopefully. it would be perfect.
But I'm afraid that sega32 may be too much for the developers. I think it's a very complicated driver that requires a lot of time.

I took a look some time ago, even the way the roms are loaded is kinda peculiar and one of a kind in mame.

Great! Each new FBA release always bring lot of updates, very cool to see all those Data East games are now compatible with this latest build, i hope next board supported will be System 32 by Sega, i so want to play Spiderman, Outrunners and Golden Axe 2: Revenge of Death Adder on FBA.
We have the CPU core for it and iirc the sound core. It's a matter of time involved in porting the video and memory maps for this. Which will be an insane amount when you consider my tiny amount of free time.

I just played some 30 minutes of Dodonpachi and WOW! The input lag is noticeably lower. It now feels just like Daioujou and Ketsui.

I always thought that it was by design, but it seems not. Only thing is now i have to create all my save games again from scratch, but it will be fun :D

EDIT:
Ok, so a small but very annoying issue with loading in games with bombs (Dodonpachi). I'm playing FBA on mobile (Retroarch core) and when i load a save-game, i HAVE to use the bomb button as it is the only button that activates the loading, but the moment it loads, it also activates the bomb in the game, which is a game/score breaking issue  :redface:

Previously, it was the normal fire button that loaded a save-game and there were no issues.

Why don't you use "Quick Menu > Controls" to change mapping if the default doesn't fit your needs ?

I use a slightly older version of Retroarch that doesn't have that option. I have a pretty old phone with kit kat and newer versions caused some stability issues. Is there anything i can do in the actual overlay .cfg? An extra buttton i might add? (i'm assuming not).

You'll have to ask on libretro's forum, i don't know much about their config files

Edit: not to beat on a dead horse, so my final intervention on the matter. I see the "start" button is indeed connected to the save/load menu, but it only resets the save/load slots numbers to zero. I don't know in what circumstances this is useful, but having "start" activate the slot command would be really useful.

Anyway, amazing job with the input lag...I'm doing some gymnastics in Dodonpachi that i even scare myself  :biggrin:
