when you check autoframeskip in the program , in the fba.ini it change "bAlwaysDrawFrames" to 0, but the explanation in the ini says that "//If non-zero, skip frames when needed to keep the emulation running at full speed"

I always thought that was funny, thanks reminding me to fix it :)
It will read (next version): // If zero, skip frames when needed to keep the emulation running at full speed

Yes, I really want to know what they are trying to do.  Their rather benign messages are kinda amusing.

Can you give me an example of which game says this error?

For example, if I want to run Sonic the Hedgehog on Megadrive(Genesis), I'll do:
fba md_sonic

or for Ghouls 'n Ghosts (Dai Makai Mura) on PCEngine SG-X:
fba sgx_daimakai

The romset prefix (md_ sgx_, etc) is so fba can tell which system to emulate, the romset files on the other hand are just named sonic.zip and daimakai.zip.

hope that helps!

FBA Discussion / FBA & console commande line?
« Last post by syncmaster on April 20, 2018, 02:08:31 pm »
Hello
Thanks to the FBA team for their great work
I'm trying to run some console games in FBA with command line
I have DL all the pack games. Eveything works OK with the GUI

With commandline, most of the time I have a message "GAME is not supported by FB Alpha"
Is there a missing switch in the documentation?

Thanks

Just some random fixups info:

Heavy Unit: improved the cpu sync a bit, now the attract demos run to their correct spot w/o dieing right away
Double Dribble (upcoming): also improved cpu sync, player dribbles the ball a bit more smoothly
6809/hd6309 cpu cores: removed the ancient busyloop speed hacks, these are totally unnecessary today and are most likely the reason some games using these cpus need even more hacks to run at the right speed.
konami gt/rf2: improved analog controls a bit (revisited)

Hi giovane385,
this is the forum for the Windows FBA release and not for the Sony PSP release... in few words, this isn't the "right place" for your question...
in any case, maybe, someone may give you little more information (but I can't make guarantees).
