look nice, but sorry dumb question, im noob here, what is "halation"? a shader for your version of final burn?

I don't know -- blooming implies a gradual process, and fba's crt simulation doesn't do that.

well i use bloom to recreate the "glow" was in original cabinet with crt monitor and a glass over the monitor (and i guess the cabinet was often set up with luminosity to the max, lol, somethimes i burned my eyes when as kids i play hours at cabinet :D), this effect you implement do something similar, or at least, the final result is similar, but your effect seems even better!!!

when you will release your final burn version with this effect?

A monitor with the brightness turned up is exactly what the contrast control is meant to evoke. The effect is not as over the top as in the screenshot above though.

I should have an updated preview ready later today or tonight.
