    * added proper dump for kof95a (MVS version with 4x eprom (EP1~EP4))
    * added lastblada (japan revision set, same data as lastblad)
    * re-added 3counbt set with p1/p2 4mbit on eprom (3countba)
    * re-added roboarma (seems an emulation hack but not confirmed)
    * re-added samsho Old version (samshoa (P1~P3))

Carefull with this stuff:
kof95a is found as 0XX-PG1 (if I remember correctly; same checksums)
lastblda useless as it is on eprom, found as XXX-P1 and XXX-P2 (same checksums)
3countbt also useless as it is on eprom, found as XXX-P1 (same checksum)
samshoa i've seen a set with this layout, also on eprom

I haven't added these to Mame, I see no point in it as the checksums match -> All can be found on 'official labeled' dips. If they get added to FBA please document this stuff correctly.

roboarma could be a real set, MVS, a PG revision.
This is something for DU. Someone could give Smittdog a hint.

I doubt Smitdogg would be interested, there are more important things to spend money on, and far too many boots / people wanting to scam you.  If people have the carts, great, they can be documented, if not, it started to become throwing money down the drain.

Excellent BisonSAS!! Those are great updates ^^, keep up the good job man!

btw, you may want to try using my latest version of the FBA Driverlist Gen v0.3 RC1  ;p, let me know if you find any issues :) so far I think it should be working fine.

here is the what's new:

Quote
   v0.3 (21-03-2010)
   ----|

      + fixed a couple of string handling problems.
      + implemented a 4-step driverlist.h check, so it gets generated when needed only.
      + directories are now obtained from makefiles as arguments.
      + commented / disabled the directory auto-scanning.
      + cleaned a few other things.

You have to update this in the makefile(s) for this version specifically ...

FIND

Code: [Select]
#
# Compile & Initialize FBA Driverlist Generator
#

$(driverlist.h): $(srcdir)scripts/driverlist_gen.cpp
@$(CXX) -mconsole $(CXXFLAGS) $(LDFLAGS) $< -o driverlist_gen.exe
@driverlist_gen.exe $(drvobj)
@rm driverlist_gen.exe

REPLACE WITH

Code: [Select]
#
# Compile & Initialize FBA Driverlist Generator
#

dirend = alldir_end

$(driverlist.h): $(srcdir)scripts/driverlist_gen.cpp
@$(CXX) -mconsole $(CXXFLAGS) $(LDFLAGS) $< -o driverlist_gen.exe
@driverlist_gen.exe $(alldir) $(dirend) $(drvobj)
@rm driverlist_gen.exe

Take care!

Update to match MAME 0.139u3
- neogeo.c: misc updates [Johnboy]

    * viewpoint - Renamed v's to correct chip label
     * ghostlop - Renamed roms to match proto naming sheme
     * savagere, kizuna - Added correct c1
     * crsword - Tagged MVS AND AES VERSION, added correct m1
     * legendos - Added correct m1

TO DO : Update neogeo BIOS

The 'old' c1 in kizuna/savagere is good, reverted the change (if it gets accepted).
Also the current m1 for gururin is bad - change first byte from 'FF' to 'F3'.
The 'bitrot' strikes hard these days ...  :rolleyes:  and drives someone nuts  :wink:
