Hey man! I can not unpack this file in 7z. You could make an upload in RapidShare? Please!!!
Thanks!!!

Have you tried opening 7z using the 7-Zip program?

http://downloads.sourceforge.net/sevenzip/7z457.exe

Or maybe you have to extract all of the files within the 7z in order to work. You can't select a specific folder to extract, or it won't work.

Ufff it's being hard for me to find reference on how to handle .ISO disc images using C/C++, it seems that there is no much public information on how to extract / manage files inside a .ISO image.

Anyway I will keep searching to see if there is something, if I can't find the necessary reference I will be forced to leave the support of NeoGeo CD only via CD-ROM =(.

OK I found something interesting to dump ISO-9660 media, and successfully implemented some Linux definitions for use in MinGW and Win32 xD...it compiled fine and all, now I have to port the dumping functions and finally test them

Any advances will be posted here , ..btw, if all this works the only thing i will have to implement is the MP3 playback support.

FB Alpha Enhanced R16 WIP Images ("some" xD)

There is lot of new stuff inside the NeoGeo CD core, it may seem simple for some but to make all of the following new features work, it was a hell of testing / compiling / researching / crashing / scratching / red eyes / etc xDD...anyway here are 'some' of the new features:

- REMOVED SDL COMPLETELY, NOT NEEDED ANYMORE. (lol)
- Implemented MP3 playback support when using .CUE / .ISO.
- Created a new module to parse the NeoGeo CD .CUE files, it will make a list of all Tracks currently on the .CUE and verify them at the same time to see if they are MP3 or WAV.
- I could complete the ISO handling implementation ThanX to IQ_132 for sharing his code for handling / reading ISO's.
- Implemented CDDA loading from disc without SDL when using CD-ROM.
- Lot other stuff X___X...

Coming soon:

- WAV playback support.
- and some surprises ^^...
Check the attachment for some pictures

R16 [January 27, 2008] WIP news:

- Finally! kailleraclient.dll is NOT needed to run FBA, and if you try to use NetPlay without having the DLL in the FBA dir you will get a Message Box telling you about the issue. This feature will cause no errors, no gurus, no problem at all .
- Implemented preliminary support for WAV playback (Neo Geo CD).

CaptainCPS-X can you please add this option?
- adjusting CPU to let's say 300% makes the game run 3 times faster

it currently doesn't work.

That's not entirely how it works.  Some games, yes, it will make run faster, but others it will make no difference in.
There are several reasons for this: the first being that overclocking the cpu is not supported in every driver, and the second being that some games don't depend on the cpu speed - they will run according to irqs which are triggered periodically during each frame.

FB Alpha Enhanced R16 WIP [January 28, 2008]

- WAV Playback support for NeoGeo CD games is 100% complete now (When not using CD-ROM / CDDA).

Today I was trying "everything I could" to embed JPG resources to FBA and load them @ runtime, but nothing didn't work the way I wanted, lot of crashing and sh*t, btw I tried some modified libraries of GDI+ for MinGW and they worked fine, but they don't have what I need neither so I removed GDI+ libs. Then finally I decided to just edit the BMP's a little with less colors, that way I can get ~1.4MB less in the final exe, now when compressing the fba.exe with 7z it get down to ~1.14MB and the src dir is just ~1.30MB when compressed as 7z too.

One of my next tasks is simplify the most I can all the burner modules, so FBA can get a final compressed size of less than 1MB ^^

SeeYaa!

why JPEG not PNG , burner owns PNG engine for snapshot
