FB ALPHA V0.2.97.24 WONT READ THE ROMS?

So with each new update ,roms that once read with no prob aren't visible anymore ,what's the method for ROM compatibility? Is there some sort of "bios" needed now? And is the new SNES engine compatible with all roms? Pls HELP! :( Thnx in Advance.
