Title: How to use cheats on Neo Geo CD images?

I wanted to test to see if the cartridge Metal Slug cheats work on the CD version, so I copied and renamed the mslug cheat file to the name of the ISO, but no dice. What file name does FBA look for when determining if there are cheats for a CD game?
