I'm not sure to be honest. On a PC an M6502 core isn't very taxing.

On a Saturn, I'm sure you'll tell me the difference. :)

The reason for the switch is that the MAME core is just better.

I've finally tested the new core (but not the old one) i'd say it's terribly slow. for a 6502@1.7 mhz I got 20fps. any z80@4Mhz i can get 60-80fps.
i'm trying to port another 6502 core(crab6502) and maybe test the previous core.
