OK it appears that Sega System 1 driver is emulated and I discovered Sega Princess.

IQ, was this driver one of the first ones to be implemented in FBA? How easy or difficult was it to put in?

I absolutely love The Sega Master System version of The Ninja. Have any of you guys played it? It's pretty cool. I wonder what the differences are between the Master System version and the arcade version, other than the gender of the protagonist?

It came quite late. Most of the games are encrypted and were incompatible with FBA's old Z80 core (DOZE). It was only after I ported MAME's Z80 core that I could do a System 1 driver. It was actually this driver that made me port MAME's core in the first place. :)

I absolutely love The Sega Master System version of The Ninja. Have any of you guys played it? It's pretty cool. I wonder what the differences are between the Master System version and the arcade version, other than the gender of the protagonist?

I grew up with it - quality game but pretty hard. Spent more time with Wonderboy III though!

Hi Barry, thanks for the info on the System 1 driver. That is very interesting news :)

Yeah both of those are Master System Classics. I too, grew up on both of them. Wonder Boy III was indeed amazing back then, but don't forget Quartet and Kung Fu Kid :)

Any interest in the Atari Lynx? It's one of the most unloved hand-helds in the emu scene. (It uses MOS 65SC02).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atari_Lynx#Technical_specifications

Handy is the best (open source) emu for it, but it has hitches and choppy sound.

Puzzle Bobble is a great game and it would be a good thing to see it emulated in fba.

Thanks.
