This is not an official release, right? FBA's page doesn't seem to state anything regarding this "0.2.95.25" release.

Hmmm...

Jan gave me a copy when he was on #CPS2shock.

I'm one of the testers. :biggrin:

Just don't get in trouble when hosting his beta stuffs without Jan permission. :rolleyes:

This isn't a final stage.

The new VST host is great, but this version haves a lot of GUI errors. I don't like the new selection system... I hope they don't keep it in the final version.

To fixs the neogeo screen by using the visible area option.

Start a neogeo game but let it run first to see the screen. If the screen have gray line or anything. Go to video, set visible area and then set the number on aany box to fixs the neogeo screen.

Here is a screenshot.

Actually, at least to me, this was a pretty useless feature. :p I never had problems with "extra" or missing parts of the screen with Neo-Geo games -- or any other game, for that matter. But, indeed, the VST setting was a great addition to those hooked on sound quality, since the original sound scheme on FBA has always been pretty simple.

Those of you need to go and talk to the fba teams about the errors and other stuffs that you found the bugs on.

Jan want the errors reports at the http://www.ojko.com/phpbb/index.php and not post here at this forum.

They will not comming over here and get any errors report on this beta testing that you post here.

You can do all the bugs reports all you want here. But they will not be looking here for the reports.

I not being meain or anything. That the way it is when they have their own forum to check on. :rolleyes:

FBA 0.2.95.25 test released

   This is still an alpha release!

   Note that, if compiled with GCC, you will need to use version 3.3.x, and
   the experimental DirectX 9 blitter is not built.

- Added an interface for audio DSP effects;
- Added a VST hosting module (plugins are found if located in a subdirectory
  named vstplugins or in a custimisable alternate location);
- Changed the Neo Geo screen size to 320x224 pixels;
- Added controls to specify the visible area of any game;
- Fixed Neo Geo sprite drawing;
- The emulation and GUI now run in seperate threads, making the complete GUI
  usable during online games;
- Fixed miscellaneous minor issues;
