Hello all,
I'm reporting a noticeable graphical bug I found in Vampire Savior (vsav.zip) and all of its clones. There is graphical glitching during the 'KO moment' after each and every fight ends.
This graphical bug can be seen in its fullest effect on the final stage, inside the giant demon womb. Whenever a KO happens on this stage, instead of the usual red flash effect that is supposed to happen, the demon baby itself will flash "in pieces" at that time. It is kind of like the stage background is breaking up in that moment. I have tested this with and without graphical filters on.
I have the latest FBA for PC and also use Final Burn Legends 1.3 on an Xbox. I hope I gave a good enough description. This same issue also affects Night Warriors + all clones whenever a character is KO'ed. These are the sets where I've encountered this:

vhuntjr1.zip
vhuntjr2.zip

If there are any questions, I will gladly answer. A tremendous thanks to everyone here who is responsible for the production of such a fine program that preserves classic gaming.

Didn't see the option for attachments earlier, so here are a few:

As mentioned before, it also affects Night Warriors and all clones.
How it affects this version can be seen here:
-
I'm fairly certain this is related to a palette fade effect that cps2 has, but is unemulated in fba.
-
Unfortunately, I've discovered that this palette issue affects more games than the ones I pointed out originally. :S
Street Fighter Alpha 2, Marvel Super Heroes, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, and all their clones are also affected by some weird graphical distortions. I could post screenshots, but I'm doubtful it will do any good. Even Marvel vs Capcom is affected in some ways.
Another thing I discovered (on a more optimistic note) is how previous FBA's do not have this issue. I wonder why that is? For example, in older (pre-0.2.97.06 builds) the screen graphics do not "break up" in those CPS2 games I previously cited.
