Seems unlikely to me. Those games need their "artwork" to show all the graphics, and I don't know if FB can do that.

The "ROMs" are responsible of the characters, but the background image comes from the game's artwork pack.

Totally possible, but unlikely. We'd have to build an artwork system from scratch and make some big changes to the fbn core.

IIRC in the current FBN the only game that uses a "pseudo artwork" is Atari Night Driver (the car cockpit). But this should be made with a customization of the video interface and not with a "real" overlay layer.

I personally will not waste any time with Game 'n Watch(lcd) machines, sorry guys. GNW/Atari 2600 was the reason I went to the Arcade in the 80's
[aka they were not worth playing..]
