I owned the Saturn version for a while. It is a raging dumpster fire of a game, but I've got some fond memories of it nonetheless. :) Additionally, this will get some of the golden tee games added and force me to port a Via controller core.

Detroit is famous for raging dumpster fires :)

Erf, Street Fighter The movie... iirc the arcade version is trash (the PSX/Saturn version was a complete revamp and "kinda" better). I'm not familiar with the other titles.

Nice work anyway ;).

Hah! I prefer the arcade version, for sure! it's a good game in my humble opinion. I don't know why peaple say it's not.

I agree with you, the console versions (PSX/Saturn) have better full motion videos sequences and the fighters' shadows are translucent, but the arcade version has (very) better animations! ;)

Yeah, and the sprites are more defined.

Hereunder some snapshots of Slither (other Taito's Qix hw game)... as usual, a big thanks to iq_132 (and dink for your help) ! ;)

In some cases the first time that you run Slither, the game goes in service mode and it returns a "CMOS Invalid" message (as you can see in attached snapshot). To solve the trouble it's enough:
1) press player 1 (start) to load defaults;
2) then press player 2 (start) to save.

In Slither the trackball down and right movements are half-cycle compared to up and left.  So moving down or right is twice as fast as moving up or left (this issue is present in MAME too - the game would require a custom trackball code).

PS: all tech infos are courtesy of dink! :)
