Anyone had any luck adding progear?
I've gotten it past the loading by adding:
HARDWARE_CAPCOM_CPS2_SIMM
after
HARDWARE_CAPCOM_CPS2

But I haven't managed to get it any further.. anyone a little more knowledgable with the cps aspects of FBA got an answer?

Same thing.  Loads in FBA-XXX on the xbox, but then black screen.  Most likely has to do with the decryption and loading; as mpangj has roms 05a 05b, but progear has these plus 06a and 06b...just my thoughts...

...too bad I dont have the source code for winkawakx for the xbox...then we would have a release on the black box!

It's very strange... progear boots just fine in any other neogeo emu using the same driver as mpang (with the addition of those two sample roms...) but it doesn't work at all, not even with the roms renamed to match mpang :/

Regarding FBA-XXX, I mentioned this to Gogoackman, he says for the black screen, it is possible it requires a fix like SFA3 and marvel vs capcom (manto did it, so he could tell us more about it, or you can see in the sources.)

I've looked through the sources of FBA-XXX last night and didn't see anything that jumped out for these two games...I'll keep at it today.

It doesn't play because it doesn't load correctly (I think that's the problem anyway)

progear.zip 13.7mb and the progearj.zip 13.7mb. :D

What so weard about it is that these 2 have different CRC and the same roms names.

Why not play those on Winkawaks Version 1.52?

Winkawaks will never let anyone down on these 2. :)

Btw: I can't wait to get the cheats.

The names are different because one is the japanese set and one is the USA set.

Because I really really don't like Kawaks... I'd rather use Nebula and MAME than Kawaks.

Mame is my fav simply it has less trouble emulateing games
Progear is one good example .
I still like FBA but only for my older PC's becuase it needs less CPU power .But Mame is for me because it has cleaner code and emulates many more games than any other emulator.

I always found FBA code to be a pain to get games working unlike Mame .

This is probably not the right place for this, but does anyone know why my sound for all games in Mame .90 skips a lot? It happens for everything; even things that were fine in .89. Any ideas about settings or anything?
