Hello team,
Hope I don't bother you. I have been searching on the forum but I can't find any information related with this. Jojo's bizarre Ventura and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure are not showing second player hit counter, is there any chance to see this fixed?
Thank you.

Hi, the second player hit counter seems just fine here. Can you please post a screenshot & also your version # of FBAlpha?
thanks & best regards,

Thank you so much for the answer @dink. The Rom:
ジョジョの 奇妙な冒険: 未来への遺産 ◦ JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (Japan 990927)
jojoba
FBA is: 0.2.97.37
Screenshots on both player sides of the same attack:

EDIT: Just try on all Jojoba versions with all variables and still not work. Also try if when playing against CPU it is showed but no. And also try to play only with the second player and still the same result.

Can you share with us what version of FBA you're using? Are you using one off the fbalpha.com site?

Thank you @iq_132 :D. The version was posted on my last answer, but maybe you missed because I posted lot of information, sorry for that:
FBA is: 0.2.97.37
In order to be 100% sure, I have downloaded again from the official website (I always do with all the software and specially with emulators) and I tried again with the same result. Also I have tried with the 32 bit and XP version (I know it is not related but... Who knows? ;D). I am on Windows 10 64-bits (and I am sure it is too not related, but again... Who knows? XD).
Thank you both for the interest showed :D. If I can give you more information, notify me.

I'm not sure if it will be a useful attempt... in any case (if you haven't already) you can try and check the game using a different computer.

Well, this "bug" it's present, at least, since 0.2.96.74 and I don't know if it was solved later. But yes, it have been checked on several computers. Can you please make a try on your computers and upload a pic?

I had a quick look at CPS3 "Jojo's games" and I can confirm that, when I played as player 2, the related hit counters weren't shown... I tested the games on a laptop with Win7 64 bit.

After years of training on MAME, I just noticed today that this bug also happen there. It's strange because as far as I remember, I try it several years ago and the bug was fixed. I think I am going to try some old MAME versions, but I don't think It's going to work, I think I'm just confused.
-
It might just be a bug in the game itself, if thats the case: all is well :)

Of course, in this case the "bug fix" request should be submitted directly to the Capcom! :P
-
But of course, if you do actually find a specific version of an emulator where it works, please let us know. If it really is a bug we can fix, it would be nice to fix.

I tried on several MAME versions and no, it's not working. About if it's in-game bug, no, it is not. And If case it was, this game have some revisions so they would fix it. Here you have a video of a Mikado tournament played on genuine Arcade cabinet. On 0:25 you can see the 2P combo meter:

I am going to try it with the original Elsemi emulator.
-
Just out of curiosity, could it possibly be the dreamcast version, or possibly a tourney version?
