Title: Playing "Last Resort" in console mode

I want to play "Last Resort" in USA console mode, but it's forcing me to play it in Europe arcade mode.  No bios settings seem to make any difference. Nebula lets me play it in console mode.

I think NeoGeo core in FBA needs to be updated to allow Console / AES modes in the DIPswitch window since it seems to be configurable only at source code for build event, Im not sure.

Anyway here you have the method I would use to play a NeoGeo game in Console / AES mode  :biggrin:

Go to the DIPswitch settings window and select Universe BIOS v2.3

FBA will automatically skip uni-bios logo so, press F2 to enter diagnostics / test screen

Exit diagnostics / test screen (dont press F3)

While the Universe Bios screen is displayed press buttons A + B + C

Enter to Region Setup by pressing button A

While on Region Setup screen press button B to select USA

Now press button B again to select Console / AES mode

Now it will automatically save your changes and send you back

Now select Play Game

FBA lets you use the actual BIOS from a dumped machine. Unfortunately we don't have a dump for USA AES so it isn't possible to select that one. :) The most elegant way to achieve it without forcing it is to use the Universe BIOS as Cap said.
