Truxton sound issue

There seems to be a difference in sound compared to MAME.
Does FBN incorporate the following modifications of MAME?

From what I remember:
The particular bug in this report is due to a bug in the new fm sound emulation in MAME - the previous fm sound emulation didn't have this bug (it's the one we use).  I'll do a comparison between the fbn and current mame and see where the difference is coming from - it could be something simple (hopefully) :)

I did a recording of fbneo, current mame and compared them along with the pcb recording, and it sounds good to me.  There is some sort of stereo enhancement going on with the pcb recording, but that was done post-processing.
