Are there programs or websites that will allow me to check if the copy of the zip file of a ROM I have is supported by FBA? I have certain ROMs that when run in FBA, gives out a missing file error (BIOS graphics/sound/program/etc. filename.rom was not found OR programs/graphics/etc. data is missing).

Also, is there a more efficient method of checking if a ROM .zip file will be supported by FBA besides manually running each copy of the ROM .zip file and seeing if FBA gives out an error message? Any tips on how to avoid acquiring copies that are not supported by FBA?

Are the old "CLRMame Pro" and "ROMCenter" still working for this purpose?
These are the only tools I remember.

You need to read instructions in order to use them with other emulators like FBA.

Here is the CLRMame Pro: http://mamedev.emulab.it/clrmamepro/download.htm
Here is the ROMCenter: http://www.romcenter.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2075

And this is another tool, I didn't know about it. MameMerge.

Finally, you could try one of LogiQx tools, perhaps he has something to manage ROMsets.

See you!

Thanks! I'll try those.
