Hi to all!
Long time since I do post here :)
Well got last FBA, created all CLRMame dats, scanned all romsets and CLRMAME say me all ok, no misses so why FBA still insists on show me a lot of missing roms/game sets on the main game list?
The majority of roms are sms related...
-
Did you put the console games ROMs in the correct folders (e.g. *fba/sms, *fba/pce, etc.) or did you configure the ROMs paths (there is a specific option in the "Misc" menu)?
-
Yeah all kinda of rom on your own folder for sure and added all rompaths on the FBA misc emu already!
-
Hum weird seeing here on my alexkidd.zip romset I have the rom the DAT says its OK (CRC matchs) but FBA refuses to load showing a error popup screen now I see the name inside zip is different from main zip set.
Maybe is that the issue about the missing roms? Let me try one thing here...
-
I checked my SMS "alexkidd.zip" and the correct bin name inside the zip file should be: alex kidd in miracle world (usa, europe) (v1.1).bin
PS: in any case, when you edit the ROMs paths, to minimize the variations, use the default "path slot" for the SMS ROMs (path #12)...
EDIT: your Alex Kidd ROM should be related to the Game Gear version (in this case the default "path slot" is path #13).
-
I didn?t get your point about use the default "path slot" and yeah some games exists on various other systems of course.

It is really clear Ashura.
When you choose Misc/Configure ROMs paths..., a new window Edit ROMs paths pop up.
If you take a look at Path #12, you will see :

for Path #13 it is gamegear/, Path #14 it is sg1000/, etc...
These are the default "path slot".

@JacKc: Thanks for clarifying the meaning of "path slot" ! :)
