Title: FB Alpha Enhanced Controller Utility

I stumbled on to FB Alpha Enhanced today and realized that it was exactly what I was looking for.

What drove me nuts was having to configure my gamepad for each individual game. I tried the profiles but they didn't match up at all and the interface just seemed clumsy in general.

I tossed together a little utility in hopes of never fussing with this again. It will automagically generate game config inis for you based on your preferences for CPS and Neo Geo controls. This way you'll set the control's once and never have to mess with them for subsequent games.

Usage:

01. Download Gamesini (http://sites.google.com/a/fsckyle.com/files/Home/Gamesini.zip?attredirects=0) and extract the exe to FBAlpha\config\games
02. Open FB Alpha Enhanced
03. Click Misc, Generate ClrMame Pro dat
04. Save it to FBAlpha\config\games
05. Open a CPS game
06. Configure your joypad(s) to your liking
07. Close the game
08. Open a Neo Geo game
09. Configure your joypad(s) to your liking
10. Close the game
11. Close FB Alpha Enhanced
12. Browse to the directory FBAlpha\config\games
13. Rename your CPS game's ini to cps.ini
14. Rename your Neo Geo game's ini to neo.ini
15. Run Gamesini.exe and give it a minute to work its magic
16. The directory should then populate with a ton of game ini files

You can now fire up FB Alpha Enhanced and play any game without having to set the controller config. If it's a Neo Geo game it will use the Neo Geo control scheme. Otherwise it will use the CPS scheme.

Let me know if you have any questions/requests. This probably won't evolve much beyond what it currently is.

I test with the last original release "FB Alpha 2.96.90" and works great :biggrin:, almost like the nebula config.
