Great News...Thanks Barry
PS: The Scanning ROMs process is very long now, is it normal? Is it possible to improve it in next Release?
In my way of seeing it, it seems normal to me, the factor that slows down FBA is the Hardware + OS response, if there are lot of files / ROMs in the directory FBA (or any application) is scanning it will get slow, why? well because when some application request directory data, the system has to do basic checking process of the directory + contents and then it will return the found values, or the error values if the directory is not found or any other reason like corrupted data, etc (error results doesn't take much processing time).
For example, if FBA had the issue then you would have the same scanning times if you leave the ROMs paths empty, but what will happen when you leave the ROMs paths empty is that the OS response is very fast (the OS doesn't have to check any directory structure), making FBA finish the scanning process in less time.
Finally, FBA has approx 1,700 sets it has to scan, and if we calculate an approximate number of ROMs per game , I would say it's like 1,700 x 7 and that would get us to ~11900 files in compressed ZIP files, so it have to: [ Get dir / file data -> Decode / Read packed data -> Compare ROMs / CRCs -> continue...] ~1,700 times, and if you have all the sets in place it will take a few seconds to complete, and that seems normal to me ^^.
SeeYaa!
