Title: Integer scaling
Post by: theelf on August 04, 2013, 02:29:04 PM
Hi, there is a way to do integer scaling? aspect ratio is not important, just pixel perfect scaling, using the screen as much is possible

For example, my screen is 1280x1024

CPS1 = 384x224 =  3x4 = 1152x896
NEOGEO = 304x224 = 4x4 = 1216x896
Others = 256x224 = 5x4 = 1280x896

I tried a lot of options, but not luck

Thanks

Not dead, just sleeping. :P I'll get back with you on a solution for this, if there is one.

I have the code for this and every other type of screen scaling if you want it IQ...

Hi, thanks for reply!!!

Im happy the forum is not dead

For now, Im using mame, that give me the choice to have integer scaling

But... I really don't like any mame frontend much,  Finalburn have better UI and is faster

If there is a way to do integer scaling, I will be so happy to not need to use mame ;)

Thanks!!!

Was this issue ever resolved?

If somebody could post a tutorial on how to set integer scaling in FBA, it would be very useful to lots of other users.

HI everybody!!

I think the best way to do, is to create virtual resolutions in PowerStrip

For example, for CPS1, if the native resolution of screen is 1280x1024, in powerstrip create a 1152x896 resolution, inside 1280x1024, then in Fburn, just select this virtual resolution, and stretch the image to max

The only problem, is that I don't found any way to save the resolution for every system (neogeo and CPS1 for example)
