Title: Compare the different MAME builds!?

Mmh, just an idea: what do you guys think, wouldn't it be a great idea to create a comparison between the most active MAME builds, list the features and the cons, their sources and/or diffs and their websites. It would be a great "(NeoSource Exclusive)" and IMHO a much better sticky than the source collection atm.
Me for example, I was really confused some years ago as I started with MAME because of all these builds.
I have to admit, I still don't know some features of some forks (the Neht or the Thunder one for example! O.o) and I would really enjoy it to see such a comparison.

Well that is a good recommendation, and I will try to work on that,

btw, the newest MAME releases are not in the MAME Download Checkpoint because I haven't found the time to upload the updated src's/bin's/etc, just saying this so if some of you are wondering why I haven't updated the thread  :p
