Adding Rompath Tabs

I like to keep all of my roms in their own folders and was wondering if there is a way to add rompath tabs to the emulator. I think there are currently 8 tabs available. Or will the emultor look within folders inside folders for files? Sorry for such a basic question but I don't have the answer.
