Why is the FBA SVN kept a secret until a major release?
« on: May 27, 2014, 03:33:46 PM »
I thought FBA was a open source project yet it only seems to be openly available to high end contributing coders, any insight on this?

Kinda itching to use a improved version of FBA .

Short answer - license violating builds.

FB Alpha is source available. When a release is made, the source is made available.

Yep - if we had an open SVN, then stuff would appear in there before actually released and users would be really confused as to which build is the derivitive of which.
