SFZ3Mix It's a variant of SFA3 with several new features like new resolution, optional custom samples, rom expansion

Fix normal cancellations

0.20 Log

Creation of a new Driver (CPS2Turbo) to be able to expand the rom
Increase the size of the Program, Graphics and Sounds in the rom
Increased resolution from 384x224 to 416x234
Increased lifebar and powerbar to adjust to the new resolution
Decreased Guard recovery time
Damage % calculation instead of catchphrases (Very Good!!)
New Just Defence sound
Ryu's background recolored
New movement (super jump, roll, escape, back step)
CPU programming to use the new moves
After Guard Crush max guardbar decreases permanently
Guard Recovery (at the end of the round by holding down + medium punch you can use 2 powerbars to
recover 1 MaxGuardBar)
Ground Recovery can also be done using the lp+lk command
Super Cancel for all projectiles
Custom Combos 1,2,3 (mp+hk, mk+hp, hp+hk)
Daigo Mode (mp+mk) Auto Just Defence until power runs out
Counter status when using Low Jump
White screen after winner's last hit
Darker palettes for all characters
Supers' shadows with different palettes
Fire damage palettes standardized
Fixed problems during Time Over

Supers Command Charlie, Chun.... hcb, hcf
Ryu (Shinkuu Hadouken) can be held
Adon (Jaguar Tooth) = hcb
Rolento (High Jump) = 3 kicks
Akuma (Shakunetsu Hadouken) = hcb
Zanguief new (Running SPD)
Dhalsim (Yoga Flame) = hcb + p, (Yoga Blast) = hcb + k
Charlie (Knee Bazooka) press any kick while running
Rose (Soul Spark) pushes less in medium and strong
Balrog new attacks (punches and kicks)
Balrog win portrait
Juli win portrait
Juni win portrait

Optional custom music added.
The songs will only be played if the samples folder contains
a .wav with the same ID as the song to be played.
The songs can be exchanged for any other .wav

Hello, first of all thanks for your work, ?are you going to update this hack rom to version 0.22? It has a lot of new features, you can even change the music and resolution, it seems like a totally new game, and it would be worth having. All the best! :cool: :biggrin:

Thank you very much for your work, it is a great addition to the emulator. One question, to use the samples and change the soundtrack, do I have to unzip the samples file in the support folder alone, or do I have to do something else? Thanks for everything! :cool: :cool:

Just copy the zip containing the sample files to your FBNeo samples folder.
Note that you might need to rename files as i mentioned here if you are not using windows.

edit: it turns out i broke this when i tried to remove the non-existent samples from the dat file, i'll revert my change and try to find a better solution

It's strange because I have downloaded the zip with the samples, and when loading the rom it does not load the samples, I have tried DonPachi and it loads it normally. I have the latest version of FBNeo, I assume you are still working on it.

In any case, thanks for the effort, and for all the hacks you have added today, it is impressive, close to 20,000 emulated games! :eek: :cool:

Hi Neildark,
Please grab the exe update, this morning I fixed the samples - they were the last (and easiest) part to get working.  I think I found and fixed all the bugs (hopefully!) with the latest exe, it should be no longer WIP :)

Hello, I have found some graphical errors in Bison's stage, the last one, I attach some screenshots.
Otherwise everything is ok, it's a great game and the new soundtrack is fantastic, congratulations to the hacker, greetings! :cool:

Unfortunately I'm not good enough to play this game to get to that stage.  Could you post a state here?  And try in the version of MAME posted on:
https://sfz3mix.github.io/download.html

The file you want is:  Emulator for 0.22 + Samples, then put sfz3mix rom into the roms subdirectory.  It would be very helpful to know if the problem happens in MAME (the emulator in the link)  This will help find out if the bug is with fbneo or the rom

I'll give you a savestate, and the link to a video with the entire game in MAME that's on YouTube, the scenario I am referring to appears after minute twenty-three.; That defect does not appear, I think it happens when there is lightning, the glare creates the graphic glitch.

This MAME video is from 0.21, could you confirm it doesn't happen with MAME on 0.22 ?

It's true, sorry, I've looked for another one with that version 0.22, and it doesn't have that bug. From what I've noticed, it's just when the lightning effect appears. Greetings! :cool:
