Hi

I wonder if it would be possible to reset custom input settings for a game but keep the dip settings intact ?

For example , let's say I've configured my control settings for SFA3 , Progear and Mars Matrix seperately to my liking

I think the key configs , autofire etc are stored in .ini files such as config/games/sfa3.ini ...

But I've also set up all games to free play , also difficuly to high from dip switches

So , when I want to reset control settings for these games to universal preset.ini file , can I just delete these sfa3.ini etc ?

But will I also lose all the dip settings I made ?

Is there a way to not lose dip settings and only delete custom control settings?

Where should the ds settings be stored ? For CPS2 , and Neogeo for example ?

Thanks , and have a good one

Awesome, thanks dink! It works nicely now.
That should help make this brutal game a tiny bit less hard.

Thanks for the clarification , dink

By the way do 32 and 64 bit versions save the configs seperately ?

I've noticed 2 files , fbneo.ini and fbneo64.ini in the config subfolder of fbneo

And i wonder if can c/p contents of fbneo.ini file to fbneo64.ini and import my settings when I try 64-bit build or is it better to set-up from scratch ?

FBN Discussion / Re: Any advantage of using 64-bit build over 32-bit ?

Hi ClessxAlghazanth,
It really depends.  I'm using a 64bit OS, but I stick with the 32bit version because it has the Enhanced/d3d blitter.  For really resource-intense things, 64bit is the way to go, but, fbneo isn't very resource-intense at all.  On the other hand, since all PC's & cpu's aren't created equal: your best bet is to try it and see if you like it better.

Hi

I've been wondering if there are advantages (like speed / stability) of using the 64-bit build ?

Like it is being better to use 64-bit build if running on a 64-bit OS and the other way , vice versa

Thanks and best regards

Here's a newly emulated game, FBNeo driver by iq_132 :)
Super big thanks to:
Ignacio Seki for finding the PCB and dumping & Alberto Salso for the MAME driver.

It's a shooter game, you play the hero-guy at the bottom which shoots the evil wolfs that try to spread woke ideology to the little girl which happily walks in the field, picking flowers, etc.

Hello. Not sure if this is a bug or not, as always...

In Boomer Rang'r, when any stage background element overlaps you (like totems or mountains), your character disappears completely. I thought this was just how the game was supposed to be, considering it is very old, that would be an understandable technical limitation. However, looking at videos on YouTube (like this one at 2:54, for example), it is not the case, and your character is still visible behind the stage element. From what I understand, those videos show the game running on MAME. I could not find a video of the game running on the actual arcade cabinet.

So... which one is correct here, FBN or MAME? Thanks.

Did that.

You are using an extremely old version of the FBNeo emulator, please use the latest version from https://github.com/finalburnneo/FBNeo/releases/tag/latest

Just press the + next to "Street Fighter 2 champion edition" then look for "Street Fighter II Mix (v1.3)"
Or check the "Always show clones" option to make it easier.
