@WILOWAR : I've added the games you asked for.

About the game "Street Combat (USA)": the game works but have a nasty interlaced effect in movement as can be seen in the attached images, so I've included a warning about it in the game info. This game in "Snes9x" have the same problem but less noticeable.

If the code wizards here can take a look at it and work their magic...

Hi udance4ever,
Donpachi and it's music is so epic, I'm glad you figured it out! :)
Now it's time to kick some ass!

*story time, look out!*
Sometime in 2014 or 2015, I had a dream about using the CD quality soundtrack with the arcade game.  Around this time, I didn't know much about emulation, and didn't think in a million years, it would be a possibility.  Well, I shared this dream with iq_132, and a day or 2 later, he made it happen!  friggin' Legendary! :)

best regards (to the full extent of the JAM),
- dink

thanks everyone for all your support - I figured it out.

I have multiple emulator roots for development and accidentally copied the donpachi.zip sample file to my production instance (so the file was missing where RetroArch was running).  doh.

in any case, I do think if the DIP switch in ON and RetroArch doesn't find samples where it expects it, it should issue a warning in the log file.

just sayin.  it's my fault in the end :)

glad I slept on it, it was driving me nuts  and appreciate y'all keeping the ball rolling!

Thanks! An update all dedicated to soccer! ;)

PS: who knows if for these games there is a "gender swap" hack!!!  :p
Not an easy task. It's not just a matter of changing the sprites to make them look female but also the game speed should be down to a 60% max and controls must be erratic at moments.
