Title: FB Alpha and XBOX 360 Controller.

Hi folks!

I?ve tried yesterday play last FBA with my wirelles XBOX 360 for PC and couldn?t map any keys!
How to proceed about it?
I?m using a X64 version on Win7 64 bits.

I use a wired XBox360 controller and it works properly, but with a wireless Xbox360 controller I don't know...

FB Alpha uses the DirectInput API to receive the inputs from a game controller and this may be "the root of the problem"... the XInput is the specific API to use the Xbox360 controllers under Windows and it's not supported by the current FB Alpha.

PS: probably this will not able to solve your problem, but you can try with the FB Alpha X86 versions.

My friend has a XBox360 controller and it works fine, does yours appear under other emulators / games?

Yep! It works fine with any emulator here except FBA.

Could you try the "winxp" version (regardless of your OS), and see if it helps?

As promised did a test with the XP build and worked then tested again the X64 build and worked too!

Dunno why but all ok now :D

Here's a tip to remember: make sure you turn the wireless controller on before starting FBA so the system can enumerate it.  Some wireless controllers "disappear" from the system when they're off.

Moreover a similar tip is useful also for the USB "wired" controllers: make sure to plug in the USB controller(s) before starting FBA... ;)
