Topic: Program to create/sort FBA MegaDrive Roms?

I'm looking for a program that will scan all my FBA MegaDrive .zip roms and create their friendly name folders, while placing the original .zip inside.

I need this for Rom Collection Browser in XBMC. When scraping the roms, its needs the correct folder name to look up the data. Thanks!

In addition, it would be great if I can do the whole collection of roms that FBA supports.

Romcenter, CLRMame, Goodgen and I am sure there are others but those are the ones I use and like

Goodgen will rename your zip files to the name of the game, Romcenter and CLRmame will check your FBA collection and tell you which ones you have and which ones you miss.

Goodgen did raname my zip files, which is a start, but I was hoping it could just make the renamed folders and put the un-named .zip inside. In order for FBA to load the rom correctly it needs to retain it's original .zip name.

Also I noticed some of the FBA megadrive roms are in a different format, a .ic1 format and GoodGen doesnt recognize this.

That is because the Romset that FBA uses is based on HazeMD.

as for the other, I don't know how to do that, sorry
