Subway Vigilante... with no relation whatsoever to Renegade. Why are you asking?

Today I bring you another Genesis / Mega Drive widescreen... sorry, widerscreen hack, this time for Splatterhouse III.

In other words, horizontal resolution is changed to 320 pixels and visuals corrected.

Information and download here.

Maybe, because there are some "small similarities" in the gameplay, environment and graphical style!?!

SMS Power! just dumped a few more of those elusive Master System carts, you may want to add them to its respective roster. If they are worthy, that is.

They are:

Championship Lode Runner [chinese logo] (TW)
Wonder Kid [Proto] [SMS-GG]
Space Armor [v2.0] [v1] (TW)

Ahh Wonder Kid (also named Adventure Kid), which is a Adventure Island clone.  I used to really love this game on msx.  But now I play it, and it's close to "f***ing horrible" as a game can get.  I miss times when simple games did the trick for me....

Gab75: if you add Wonder Kid, let me know so I can make a mapper for it.  Please don't add the mapper-hack version :)

best regards,
- dink

That happens sometimes. I miss those days sometimes. With far less games available we played the hell out of them, and gave mediocre or difficult games the opportunity they sometimes deserved. Now... what? you don't like that music? Those enemies are too hard? Not a problem, let's play another of those 2,000 games available.

Meanwhile, I've been told about this new Metroid hack. It attempts to recreate the GBA port of the game in the SNES and it's called Super Metroid: X-Fusion.

It looks VERY good, but I've also been warned of its difficulty level.

Neville, well, I gave it another try with a different mindset.  Wonder Kid is actually a nice game, Just watch out for world 7 stage 2 - it's very difficult to pass.
