The SNES ones with manga-style graphics are both great and accessible. If you ever want to give them a try, "Chrono trigger" and / or "Far East of Eden Zero" are good options.

I just saw this at Romhacking. It's a patch that restores censored content on the NES version of Maniac Mansion. I think it should be added to the NES roster, this version of the game is infamous because of all the meddling by Nintendo. Because, you know, in the west the NES was supposed to be just for the kiiiiiiiids.

vanfanel, sure thing - they're all in.  The only issue is that Metroid already has a translation - does that one need to be updated?
Is there a good layla translation that doesn't change the game or music at all?

Sorry, had not seen the Metroid FDS english entry. No, no need to update that.

About Layla, I don't think there's a translation-only patch: acording to Romhacking, there's only "The Iris Missions", which is awesome. The new music is IN CRE DI BLE.

The original translation by Alan Midas does NOT result on a patched FDS with that CRC32...
