Topic: Bad RomCenter!!! Bad!!!

Here is 2 errors that I gotting today after I got off playing these games on FBA and just got on the RomCenter 2.70 beta 2 to check those roms out.

Seem like to me that the RomCenter 2.70 beta 2 gotting confused on those 2 roms.

It think it not there and is there at the same time.

I tought those roms are bad. So after download and after download over an hour. I still gotting this error on RomCenter. I just now report to them about this roms checking errors on RomCenter.

I also told them that I'm using the fba 029498.

Hopey they fixs the problem anytime soon on RomCenter.

If those are bad then why did this don't any problem with those in the same roms settings???

I prouf them wrong.

They telling me that they don't have any bugs on RomCenter. Wrong again!!!

I guest I can go back onto the old drivers then. Since the drivers aren't bad.

It the CRC roms checking on FBA have a bug I guest.

Errr I'm sorry but it IS the problem! Final Burn is requesting roms with specific CRC's. The roms you have are wrong for the emulator your using. Just because Kawaks works with your roms, it doesnt mean Final Burn should.

Nor does it prove that the roms are in fact correct. Some emulators dont check CRC's before loading them and playing them. As long as they are present it works.

May I make a suggestion? You need to use MAME32 (version 0.89u6). MAME currently is THE best emulator and most accurate emulator for NEOGEO. So much so that it even emulates teh horrid garbage that displays on start up.

Kawaks and Final Burn are great, but for real arcade emulation there is only one emulator that does 100% and thats MAME( or MAME32).

I would download a DAT file for MAME and then recheck your ROMS. If it says your roms are bad then, then I am right and your wrong!

MAME sets the standards that all other emulators follow.

I won't use the MAME32 at all. I enjoy the FBA better anyway.

It is the RomCenter BUG!!!

It did the same thing with the old driver as well!!!

I solve the problem now.

You can't use some of the winkawak roms CRC on FBA.

I finally got it through my head.
