Hello,

I just tested the latest daily build and all problems reported seems to be corrected (in fact I think that the start of the emulator is a bit faster than before as I don't have icons enabled).

@taoenwen, thank you very much for your work.

Hi fprietog,

Thank you for taking the time to test it and getting results you are happy with.

Tattoo Assassins sound fix

It sounds like you spent more time fixing the game, than the original devs spent making the game itself. :D
Still, accuracy and preservation are worthwhile goals, so thanks for the hard work.

Added the support to Frontier Force v1.1 (2025) [Sega Master System]...

Hello,

After this commit I experienced several problems related with the start-up of fbneo64:

Commit 6ff554a (win32: updated logic for loading driver icons):
https://github.com/finalburnneo/FBNeo/commit/6ff554af37485edc2c62cf61cbd7cd036e01782c

1st problem: I have the option "Show Game List at start-up". Now instead of showing the list the program starts with a window message that says "Please wait for the background thread to finish". There is no indication of when that background thread was finished so if you try to load the list manually too soon you receive a Guru meditation error message and program closes. It also closes sometimes without doing nothing at all.

2nd problem: can't generate datfiles from command line. For instance, the command:
fbneo64d.exe -listinfo > "arcade.dat"
... just crashes at middle of dat generation.

Notice that I don't have enabled the option of icon driver (don't use icons).

Let me know if I can give any more info that helps to solve this.

Thanks and best regards.

Tattoo Assassins sound fix

The other day ScOULaris and me did some deep digging and found out the soundroms in Tattoo Assassins
were bad.  It was a sweet adventure: it involved tracing out the schematics, talking with devs of the game(!)
and eventually and it ended up with us getting a redump of the soundroms for the game, which fixes a
boatload of bad sounds.  hooray!  FBN and MAME were updated to use these new soundroms!

General Emulation / List of bugs in ngcd to AES/MVS conversions and music!
« Last post by KaNyErO on April 24, 2025, 06:54:49 PM »
Hi.

As many of you know there are some conversions from NGCD to AES/MVS like Zintrick, ADK World minigame, Crossed Swords II and Final Romance 2. Most of them have problems with missing musics and maybe other bugs.

Do you know if there is a list of bugs in those conversions?

Also I?ve looking the last AES to CD conversions from iq  and hoffman's system16 to aes, and all of them have complete music and sound. I was wondering if it would be possible to add music to those cd to cart conversion and the tools used to do that.

I would love to see zintrick with sound again ! Even some old homebrew could be even better !

Thanks.
