Cheats / Re: Riding Hero (set 1 & set 2)

superdan, I've never seen this .cht format before, but I know this cheat.dat format works as I have several friends that use lr-fbneo and they use this.
Here's cheat.dat with the Fix AES Mode added:

Hi iq_132 and thanks for your work!
Much appreciated.
I have exactly the same problem with ridhero so i downloaded your cheat files but the problem is that they are .ini and lf-fbneo in retropie with retroarch cant read it and the code for the cheats is completely different.
So is there a way to transform .ini into .cht?
Your .ini files are written as

Code: [Select]
cheat "Fix AES mode"
default 1
0 "Disabled"
1 "Enabled", 0, 0x10fd82, 0x01

BUT cheat files (.cht) in lr-fbneo in retropie are in this format (i take a cheat form metal slug for example):
Code: [Select]
cheat0_address = "1200"
cheat0_address_bit_position = "255"
cheat0_big_endian = "false"
cheat0_cheat_type = "1"
cheat0_desc = "1p weapon select 0-4"
cheat0_enable = "false"
cheat0_handler = "1"
cheat0_memory_search_size = "3"
cheat0_rumble_port = "0"
cheat0_rumble_primary_duration = "0"
cheat0_rumble_primary_strength = "0"
cheat0_rumble_secondary_duration = "0"
cheat0_rumble_secondary_strength = "0"
cheat0_rumble_type = "0"
cheat0_rumble_value = "0"
cheat0_value = "4"
cheats = "1"

i googled so much but i didnt find any way to convert your .ini code in the .cht code format.
Thaks for your help and your work

0.2.97.44 on a Pi 3b+ (it's not the fastest emulation, but it's playable)

You should definitely update your emulator, up-to-date FBNeo would be faster on cps3 emulation (i found a nice speedhack sometime last year)

Hi,
Go into service mode with F2, and select "7. Configuration", then select "1. System", from there, change sound mode (option 6) to External.
Then follow the on-screen instructions to save & exit to game mode

I'm running an RGBPI on my Blast City. It's using FBNeo 0.2.97.44 on a Pi 3b+ (it's not the fastest emulation, but it's playable). The rom only plays in mono. I've set retroarch to stereo, and all other CPS2 Street Fighter games play in stereo. I can't figure out how to get stereo working for this particular rom (sfiii3.zip). I've tried downloading other roms, but none of them will even load. I've attached the contents of the rom here. If anyone knows how I can get this accomplished I would really appreciate it!

does anyone know of any way to record .fr files from within RetroArch?

No you can't, this is a frontend feature and the libretro api has nothing to hook this between the core and the frontend.
Also, RA has its own format for input recording (bsv iirc ?).

FBN Discussion / Input recordings from command line, and recording in RetroArch?
« Last post by ChrisP on November 16, 2022, 05:45:03 PM »
Is it possible to run fbneo from command line and have it record .fr files?

I know that playback is possible, ie:
fbneo gameplay.fr

But what about making a recording?

Also, I realize that this is more of a RetroArch question than a FBN question, but does anyone know of any way to record .fr files from within RetroArch? RA supports video recording, but support for input recording is basically nonexistent. Recordings are important to me, and I for one would much rather have MAME .inp's and FBN .fr's than video files. It's maddening that there's no way to invoke record/playback functionality from within RA.
