@fprietog: thanks a lot for the numerous additions! :)

PS: SOS (Septentrion) is a good survival adventure... is worth trying it and to dedicate some time! ;)

This SOS game isn't bad either but nothing to do with Titanic. In fact it's based in the book (and movie) "The Poseidon adventure"... without license, of course.

Buy unlicensed games, win stupid prizes, I imagine.

I knew about the NES version of the same game, or very similar. That one wasn't too bad, once you apply its amateur patches / bugfixes.

Is it easy to make the dialog width resizable with the mouse cursor ?

I *need* to try that Titanic game. Is the final stage a fight with Jack for the possession of the door?
Another shitty bootleg from "Twin Eagles Group" but in this case is shittier than ever: it's just the game "SOS" with some stills from "Titanic" at the beginning.

I can imagine a boy buying this cart in the nineties and starting it in the console for the first time

Deception, lies...

Yes, I tested them all, and they all did nothing in different ways. For example:

- in Taito Cup Finals, pressing Start on the Special Menu turns credits into powerup points whether Buy In is set to On or Off (and your points are labelled Buy-In onscreen, which suggests it's supposed to be related to that).

- in Hat Trick Hero '93, however (which is a variant of the same game), pressing Start DOESN'T turn credits into points, whether Buy In is on or off.
